A Little about Claudia
Growing up in Germany, Claudia developed a lifelong affinity and love for horses and the outdoors. She started her career in the Tourism Industry, first working for a Tour Operator, then with several International Tourist Boards, including Hong Kong, Dubai and later, the American West.
With a passion for promoting ski trips and ranch vacations, she ended up at the TA Guest Ranch in Buffalo, WY the summer of 1999, riding most of the time and fell in love with a cowboy. In 2000 she moved to Buffalo, worked as a ski instructor at the Antelope Ski Area, and spent time at several ranches enjoying the beauty of the West. She later managed part of the local Sporting Goods Store and started her own travel agency.
After 11 years it was time to move on. During a 10-month local Leadership Class she was introduced to the local Economic Development organization that was affiliated with the Bomber Mountain Civic Center in Buffalo. She has worked at BMCC ever since.
In her spare time, she spends hours in the saddle and enjoys pack trips in the Bighorn Mountains with her husband and four dogs.
A Little about Amie
Amie was born and raised in a small town in Arizona, but knew she always wanted to move to a small mountain town in a cooler climate. While she had never set foot in Wyoming, her husband of 29 years landed a job in Buffalo and off they went, it was the best decision for her family! She has two adult children and two grandchildren…for now!
Amie has always been highly organized and had a strong desire to work in an office setting helping others, so she put herself through college and graduated with honors from Yavapai College with an associates’s degree as an Administrative Professional.
In her spare time Amie loves to spend time with her grandchildren, garden, tend to her chickens, and learn all she can about the homesteading life in hopes to own a piece of property someday to really hone her skills. Additionally, she loves spending time in the mountains hiking and camping, what better place to do that than the Big Horn Mountains of Buffalo!
